Claire Halestrap and Jane Givelin undefeated in Llanferres romp.

Claire Halestrap Llanferres

Arriving a player short, Airbus still proved too good for home team Rossett A in their Division 1 fixture and comfortably took the match 6 – 2. Ashley Stokes and Kris Wood were in particularly fine form for Airbus when they faced Simon Lane and Matt Orchard at first men’s. Stokes and Wood won the first game 21/19 but Lane and Orchard rallied to just nick the second 24/22. The deciding game was a bit of an anticlimax with Stokes and Wood turning on the style and by adopting attacking play and fierce smashes cruised to a convincing 21/9 win and their match. Junior Shuttle Plus

Dear All,

The closing date for the Junior Shuttle Plus is fast approaching – Friday 31st March.

I would really appreciate your support in trying to push for more entries for this event as currently numbers are low.As you’re aware, many of the South Wales Shuttle events have had to be cancelled this season so anything you can do to help promote this event to your players would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks
