The NEW Way Project is Here

TNW25Recently a meeting was held inviting junior clubs/coaches and parents to attend so we could introduce a new unique and exciting project which, we feel, will improve badminton for junior players throughout North East Wales.

The meeting was well attended by the majority of junior clubs in North East Wales, but was also well supported by coaches and parents from across the region.

Because of the encouragement and engagement we have received from this meeting we are pleased to announce The NEW Way (The North East Wales Way) Project.

NEW Development Project coming to NEWBA

NEWBA B Squad 2015-2NEWBA has recently reviewed it’s current operating processes to see where improvements can be made in developing badminton in North East Wales.

This review has led to the decision that our main initial focus and commitment will be on the junior sections of our organization, where we have looked at player development, coaching and playing opportunities.

Looking at the above criteria, we believe we have created a unique and exciting package which, we feel, will improve badminton for junior players throughout North East Wales.

With the League fixtures now complete, Flint Phoenix A sit proudly on top of Division 1 with 116 points, followed closely by last year’s champions, Airbus (101). Deeside (34) and Llanferres A (26) are relegated.
